Private Tours Reservation Request Form

If you do NOT receive a confirmation email within two business days or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Education Department at 202/292-6650. Note: Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.

  • If you would like a guided tour of the Newseum within the next seven days, please see our First Amendment Guided Highlights Tour schedule.

    A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total is due upon reservation. Full payment and final participation numbers are due seven days prior to your scheduled tour.

  • Ages 7 to 18
  • Ages 6 and younger -FREE
  • Your private guided walking tour will last approximately 90 minutes, depending on the start time and your available time allowance. If possible, we recommend additional time after your tour or the following day (must present ticket) to re-visit areas of interest.

    We reserve the right to cancel tours if the group is more than 30-minutes late. Tours may be rescheduled during the calendar year pending availability.

    Private tours must be reserved at least 7 days in advance.

    Same day private tours are not available.

    Payment and final participation numbers are due at least seven days prior to your scheduled tour.

    *Minimum cost for a private tour Monday-Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. is $300. Minimum cost for a private tour between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on weekends is $450.

    If your group is less than 5 people, you will be required to pay the minimum cost.
